Most people in Lofoten probably already know Martin Eggen – nature conservation officer in BirdLife Norway, author of books about birds, and a music lover!

Did you stop listening to music like you once used to?

First we will require your attention for 40 minutes straight, to listen to one of Martin’s favourite metal albums.

Then we can expect a selection of interesting songs curated by Martin Eggen.

We will end the afternoon with a sour metal playlist curated by SURETING.

    SO HOW WAS IT?

Martin described why he chose the album “Last In Line” by DIO, and how the album shaped his past.

Sureting playlist contained mostly black and death metal.

This was our first time doing event in In-trykk, and we are happy to report that 16 people stopped by!

    Menu highlights:

Salty lakris chocolate cake by Beathe Dombe, and Beetroot lime lingonberry cake by Sureting.

People at our pop-up Sour Cafe, in picture also gluten free muffins and our sour buns!

Thanks to everyone for coming and enjoying the last day of polar night with us!

Interdisciplinary composer Tine Surel Lange presented a curated selection of cool and weird music the visitors might not have heard before!

    SO HOW WAS IT?

It was an intense day with many curious visitors. Here is the only photo we have from the event from a short filter tonic break. More photos next time!

    Tasting menu highlights:

Rhubarb cake with lime icing, served with whipped cream and lemon zest. Accompanied by Raspberrade with fresh peppermint leaves and V60 coffee.

Amazing V60 from light roasted beans by BeBerryCoffee.

Pre-event photo of coffee cups for the occasion, ready to be used – and all for sale, in collaboration with Loppekroken – 2nd hand store in Skjelfjord.

Our tables were decorated by edible flower arrangements from our garden in Skjelfjord. ☺️

Thanks to everyone for coming and curiously trying out all the sour tastes!
